CORONARY GUIDE WIRE

ABBOTT VASCULAR - PILOT

New technology in POLYMER covered guide wires for crossing chronic occlusions.

This guide wire has a DURASTEEL core to tip design. A new material that provides greater duration in tip preshaping and makes it more durable for re-crossing in the same procedure. It's the ideal combination between Polymer and Hydrophilic coating that offers great lubrication power for tortuous anatomy.

Continuing with the PILOT family technology, these POLYMER guide wires will be used for procedures requiring greater tip support based on the morphology of the vessels to be treated.

It is available in 3 versions 50, 150 and 200. The difference among them is that PILOT 150 and 200 have greater distal support.

Characteristics:

  • 0,014'' diam x 190cm de length
  • Rounded, soft atraumatic tip
  • New inner core material, DURASTEEL
  • Polymer coating in the distal 30cm.
  • HYDROCOAT coating as lubricant (Hydrophilic)
  • Radiopacity in the distal 3cm.
  • Distal gold radiopaque marker 45mm from the tip (to have a better idea of the length of the lesion)
